Holiday Time Constraints -
How To Work Out?

Strapped for time? Don't skip your workout, modify it. Modification can come in many forms, it depends on your circumstances. If you can still make it to the gym, studio or wherever you go, shorten the time you are there. Cut out the unnecessary. That could be changing your clothes at the gym. Go dressed, ready to go. That can save 5 to 15 minutes depending on how long you take. Don't chit chat or socialize. Stay focused on getting the workout done quickly by not taking too much time between sets or talking to others. Wear an Ipod and an intense look on your face. Trust me, no one will bother or interrupt you.
Keep your exercises confined to small areas. Instead of running all over the gym to do your workout, pick 3 to 5 exercises and circuit them with no rest in between. You can also circuit 3 to 5 minutes of cardio with the same amount of strength training exercises. If you workout at home, outside, or are traveling, same rules apply. Keep it short, to the point, and intense. It's an efficient way to workout and saves time, but you don't have to cut out your workouts.
